Mushrooms in garlic cream and Cassagnau

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients (for 4):

  • 400g white mushrooms with the stalks cut off
  • 20cl fresh cream 30% fat
  • 10g unsalted butter

Basic ingredients:

  • ½ onion
  • 2-4 garlic cloves
  • 2-3 dessertspoonfuls herbes de Provence
  • salt, pepper

Preparation :

  1. Finely slice the onion.
  2. Crush the garlic cloves.
  3. Slice the mushrooms. In a frying pan, melt the butter and sauté the onions and garlic.
  4. Add the mushrooms and stir-fry for around ten minutes.
  5. Add the fresh cream and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Add the herbes de Provence, season to taste.
